Kiln with regulator to maintain temperature at 750°C / 1382°F (orange glow)
Kiln furniture (planche/stilt, kiln fork/kiln spatulas)
Ceramic fibreboard coated with clay slip (kiln support for firing enamel painting)
Two plates of glass approximately 150mm x 100mm / 6 x 4 inch
Box with air-tight lid to store paint palette
Recommended Sunshine painting palette set out on two sheets of paper

Palette knife
Wooden spills to transfer drops of medium
Kitchen towel
Cotton handkerchief
Tracing paper
HB pencil
Modelling plasticine
Blue-Tack or White Tack
Fine sponges
Miniaturist Kolinsky sable brushes series 7 numbers 0 & 00

Support for the enamel base / plaque /plate

MATERIALS:
8 steel enamel painting bases from W G Ball Ltd. 
(including 2 extra tiles for testing paint mixes and practice) 
5 hand made copper enamel painting bases
(or, if you are non-professional, you could substitute white enamel steel plaques for all 10 exercises)


Beginner:
1. 100 x 75mm / 4 x 3 inch liquid white enamel on steel
2. 75 x 75mm / 2.5 x 2.5 inch liquid white enamel on steel
3. 100 x 100mm / 4 x 4 inch liquid white enamel on steel


Intermediate:
4. 50 x 50mm / 2 x 2 inch liquid white enamel on steel + Soyer opal white 
5. 30 x 22mm / 1.2 x 0.8 inch sifted hard white enamel powder on copper
     30 x 22mm / 1.2 x 0.8 inch sifted medium white on copper
6. 50 x 50mm / 2 x 2 inch liquid white enamel on steel + Soyer opal white


Advanced:
7. 40 x 40mm / 1.6 x 1.6 inch hard white and Soyer opal white on copper
8. 24 x 32mm / 0.9 x 1.2 inch gold flux & Soyer opal white on copper
9. 24 x 32mm / 0.9 x 1.2 inch gold flux and Soyer opal white on copper
10. 50 x 50mm / 2 x 2 inch liquid white enamel on steel


Sunshine onglaze powder paints 16 x 5g (or your own preference)
Soyer opal white 101 (25g) 
Milton Bridge C10 gold flux (25g)
Medium - water-based Unimedia 100ml
                 glycerol 20ml
 (substitute anti-freeze)
Medium - oil Painting Medium 100ml (or liquid paraffin + lavender oil)
Pen oil {copaiba balsam oil (or liquid paraffin) + aniseed oil 20ml (or lavender oil)}
Solvent Zest-it 100ml
Lacquer resist 20ml
Tramil 20ml
Gold foil (2.5sq.cm / 1sq.inch), gold powder (pinch) and gold lustre (1gm)
